About Us

The title of this page says, "About Us", but there is only one person working on this website, me. I would love to hire people, to help out around here, but since I am disabled, yet have no disability income, I can't afford it. No income, means I cannot even pay living expenses, let alone hire people to start a company.

I was in a "four-wheeler" accident, back in 1997, where a collision with a late 70's model Ford LTD, left me disabled. In the accident, I fractured 3 vertebrae and damaged some discs in my lower back. Luckily, I am still alive! I can walk, but only for about 15 minutes, before the pain is too much to bare. I can sit, in a very good chair, with exceptional lumbar support, for about 2 hours, before I need to go lay down. What company would hire someone that needs to go lay down, every couple of hours? None, because I would be a liability! Due to my limited options for employment, I had to find some way, to make ends meet.

I thought about, many different ways for a disabled person to make money in this world and this idea seemed like the best opportunity. Since, I am a skeptic and believe that all "work at home" programs are scams, I decided that I had to take matters into my own hands. Considering my background in Mechanical Engineering (we were required to know a great deal about computers and programming), I already have the basic skills to be a webmaster. Actually, I had already spent a year, owning and operating a website from 1998-1999, so I figured I could draw from that experience, learn from my mistakes, and attempt to succeed, where previously I had failed. It's funny to think, that back in 1992, the year I started my engineering education, there were only 50, that's right FIFTY, websites on the entire world wide web!

After high-school, I spent six years working in construction/demolition, before going to school for Mechanical Engineering, but in hindsight, I wish I had gone into Computer Hardware or Software engineering, because there is such a colossal future in that industry. Not to mention, I have a great passion for computers, whether it's building, programming, or playing on them. How could I go wrong, doing something that I love to do, any way? I do have reservation, as to whether, I can keep up with the enormous workload, of operating a website, but I have no choice. The good thing is, that I can go lay down, whenever I need to, since I am the boss.

To qualify myself for writing video game reviews, I have been involved in gaming since Pong came out, on the Atari 2600, back in the 70's. Shortly after, I had my first experience with Dungeons and Dragons, which was so inspiring, that I have been hooked on gaming, ever since. In my opinion, all RPG/MMO games owe their success and were derived from this masterpiece, one of the greatest games of all time!

I have always wanted to make games and have dabbled in development for years, but with just one person (disabled at that), I have realized, that it is very difficult to keep up with the big game companies, who have large teams of 70 or more, working on their titles. I may not be able to produce a competitive title, but that doesn't mean I cannot be involved in the industry; hence, the creation of this website.

I am offering the extent of this website's content, free of charge and I hope that advertising and donations, will allow me income-enough, to at the very least, pay my living expenses. If I can do that, I would consider this experiment, a great success. If you would like to donate to this cause, please, find one of the Pay Pal donation buttons, scattered throughout the website, or click the button below. You can use a credit card to donate, if you do not have a Pay Pal Account, by following the same button. A donation, of even a couple dollars by many people, would change my life!

Donations are, very much appreciated, even a couple dollars!

Thank you, very much, for reading!
