Here are some initial impressions of a couple games.

Thief: Deadly Shadows *** I picked this one up out of the bargain bin. I read a lot of reviews and most everyone liked the game. I played a couple of hours and after sneaking around knocking everyone out and carrying their unconscious bodies to a dark room for storage, I got bored and haven't played since. I think the greatest appeal must be the story, because that kind of gameplay bored me after only a short time. I'll get back at it sooner or later, because I think it deserves a second look. Day of Defeat: Source *** I finally got around to playing a multi-player shooter game. I prefer WWII shooters and a friend recommended this one. I enjoyed it quite a bit, then after the two free days, decided to buy it. I played another couple of days and got bored with it (few maps), but if I ever feel like playing a multi-player shooter, I'll have a good one. Platform PC |
